Genuine BMW / Siemens Camshaft Sensor

These are used but guaranteed to be good after an extensive refurbish process. The issue with original BMW sensors failing is the wiring, not the actual sensor itself. The affected wiring is removed with a CNC milling process, new shielded wiring (specific for sensors) is soldered into place, and the cavity is filled with a motorsport epoxy resin. Lastly the connector end is repopulated with the OEM rubber boot, OEM connector housing and fresh TE terminals are crimped to the new wiring. Once the resin cures, the top is flattened in the CNC mill to give it a more consistent finish.Â

This is a Genuine BMW part made by Siemens and Made in Solvenia. This is not the aftermarket "VDO/Siemens" junk made in China and being passed off as OE or OEM from well known BMW parts retailers. Same goes for every other brand out there claiming to be OEM. Chinese sensors are known to be inferior non-functioning parts. Genuine camshaft sensors are out of stock at BMW and marked no longer available.
