Increase your E36 Dinan supercharger belt grip and boost with an original Dinan spec upgrade.
Dinan had a rare 10psi Intercooled Z3M ISR Roadster that used a 5.5" 8-rib crank pulley. This is a replica of that.
A standard E36 Dinan supercharger pulley is 5.14". Modest dimensional increase gains of 5.5" mean the potential for more boost if so desired.
A standard E36 Dinan supercharger pulley has 6 ribs. Appreciable gains in belt grip and consistent boost pressure with this 8-rib design.
Plug and Play with the Dinan tensioner and pulley. Just add the 8-rib upper supercharger pulley and appropriate belt for your desired boost level and go.
Known working configurations
- 5.5" 8-Rib ISR Crank Pulley + 3.33" 8-Rib Vortech SC Pulley + Contitech 8PK1370 Belt. This is good for 10-11psi.
Modeled after the original ISR pulley. Machined in 6061 aluminum and anodized black. Includes new stainless steel mounting hardware. Applicable to both Vortech and Powerdyne based E36 supercharger kits.
A standard E36 kit uses a 5.14" crank pulley and a 3.43 supercharger pulley. This spins the charger at 37,763rpm to produce 6.5psi. To stick with a stock like boost pressure with the 5.5" crank pulley a 3.60 supercharger pulley will spin the charger at 38,500rpm for roughly 7psi of boost. For higher boost levels, up to 2.95" supercharger pulley can be used with the Dinan tensioner setup.
