The second best of the OEM headlight options. Brand new, never used or mounted. Plug and play ready for the US-spec E36 with included wiring adapters and internal bulbs.
Commonly mislabeled as early style headlights. H7 are actually late model E36 headlights and came standard on applicable E36 late into 1994 production year. H1, which are more sought after and expensive, were an early style headlight. H7 are a brighter headlight stock for stock. H7 are identical to H1 with regard to the front main lens and housing.
European lighting is being hit with a 35% import duty as of June 2025. My cost to import these has skyrocketed.

Bosch / AL headlights are the better of OEM E36 options you can get. There are NO replica copies made of these unlike the ZKW and Hella versions which are copied by DEPO, DJ Auto, TYC, HD Auto, etc etc. Bosch / AL housings are slightly smaller allowing for an easier time fitting cold air intakes or supercharger. Additionally they are a subjectively cleaner design.
Automotive Lighting and Magnetti Marelli are Bosch subsidiaries. All Bosch/AL/MM headlights and parts are currently no longer being made (as of 2019).
